The basics
How UPI QR codes work
A UPI QR code contains a payment URI that tells a compatible UPI app where to send money. Scanning it opens the payer’s chosen app with the payee details pre-filled.
To create one, enter a valid UPI ID and payee name above. Add an amount or payment note when useful, then download the QR or payment card for sharing.
Locked amount includes the amount in the link. With it turned off, the link leaves the amount editable for the payer.

UPI QR generator FAQs
Can I create a UPI QR code without an amount?
Yes. Leave the amount blank or keep Lock amount off. The payer can enter an amount in their UPI app.
What does Lock amount do?
When enabled, the amount is included in the payment link. When disabled, the amount is omitted so the payer can enter or edit it.
Does Chase Clarity process the payment?
No. This tool only creates a UPI payment QR code and link. The payer's UPI app and bank handle the transaction.
Is my payment information stored?
No. The generator runs entirely in your browser and does not send your details to a server.
