Refund Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work. We would rather resolve a problem than argue about a refund, so if something is not right, tell us first — most issues are fixable.

Project work

Custom software is built to an agreed scope, and fees are set out in the written agreement for that project. Because the work is bespoke and delivered in stages, refunds are handled as follows:

• Before work begins. If you cancel before we have started, any advance you have paid is refunded in full.
• Once work is underway. If you cancel mid-project, you are charged for the work completed and any costs we have already committed to on your behalf. Anything you have paid beyond that is refunded. We will show you what has been done so you can see what you are paying for.
• After delivery. Once work has been delivered and accepted, fees for it are not refundable. If a delivered feature does not do what we agreed it would, we fix it at no charge — that is not a refund matter, it is our obligation.

Subscriptions

Where you subscribe to one of our products, you can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops future charges; the current billing period runs to its end and is not refunded pro rata. The specific price and billing period are shown when you subscribe.

If you were charged after cancelling, or charged in error, tell us and we will refund it.

Your data when you leave

Whether or not a refund is due, you can take your data with us. Ask and we will export it in a usable format. We do not hold data hostage over a billing dispute.

How to request a refund

Email [email protected] with what you paid for, when, and why you are asking. We will respond and, where a refund is due, process it to the original payment method. Bank and payment-provider timelines are outside our control.

If we disagree

If you are unhappy with our decision, tell us why — we will look at it again. We would rather reach something fair directly than have either of us spend money on a dispute.
